Terms of Use
A Spirit of Alaska Federal Credit Union (SoAFCU) Picture Card is customizable and available to our members that are current debit card holders or to those who open an approved checking account. If you are not yet a member, joining is quick and easy, everyone in the FNSB can join! Your Picture Card will work and function like a regular debit card, will be accepted wherever VISA debit cards are accepted, and will replace your current debit card.
SoAFCU reserves the right to reject any submitted picture or images. In addition, SoAFCU may, at its discretion, close any open debit card and require the holder of the card to return it, if SoAFCU becomes aware of the inappropriateness of a card after it has been issued. Examples of images which may be prohibited are, but not limited to, the following:
- Professional photographs, photographs including artwork or a photograph including other individuals, unless you have written permission from the creator of the professional photograph, the creator of the artwork in a photograph, and all individuals in a photograph to use the photograph.
- Photographs of public figures such as celebrities, athletes, musicians, etc.
- Offensive photographs containing provocative, offensive, racial or political material.
- Trademarked material. Photographs with advertising, promotional materials, Web site addresses or competitive marking.
By applying for a Picture Card, you give SoAFCU permission to use the photograph on the card and agree to indemnify and hold SoAFCU harmless from and against any loss, damages, liability or costs incurred by or asserted against SoAFCU caused directly or indirectly by the use of the picture or image.
